 Papagayo is located in The Interandino Valley, at the western highlands, 45 minutes
from Quito, on Kilometer 43 of the Pan Americana South.
Since 1829, the marquis of Solanda and Villarocha who was the wife of Antonio
Jose De Sucre (the grand Marshal of Ayacucho) owned these lands and it was here
where they celebrated the Easter holiday of that year.
